My name is Trinity Nowa, and I am the Founder and Executive Director of Trinity Helping Hands, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Washington State. I was born and raised in Malawi, Africa, where I developed a strong sense of compassion and an unwavering belief in the power of community. My journey from Malawi to the United States in 2013 was more than a relocation, it was a calling to make a difference in the lives of those who face systemic barriers to success.
With a deep-rooted passion for service, I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a healthcare setting where I care for patients with dignity, empathy, and professionalism. Alongside my healthcare work, I am pursuing a degree in Information Technology at Arizona State University, striving to harness technology as a tool for empowerment and innovation in underserved communities.
My personal and professional experiences have shaped my commitment to uplifting women, youth, refugees, and immigrants. Recognizing the challenges these communities face language barriers, limited access to resources, economic instability, and social isolation, I established Trinity Helping Hands to serve as a bridge to opportunity. Our organization provides vital services such as mentorship, education and skills training, mental health support, and community outreach programs tailored to the unique needs of our clients.
Through every project and initiative, my mission remains clear: to create safe, inclusive, and empowering environments where individuals can realize their full potential. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of where they come from or the obstacles they face.
Whether I am supporting a single mother seeking job training, mentoring a young refugee navigating a new culture, or building partnerships with local organizations, I am committed to fostering hope, healing, and lasting impact.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and the vision behind Trinity Helping Hands. Together, we can build stronger, more resilient communities, one helping hand at a time.
